Ted Cruz goes against FCC

I first heard about this at the kickoff rally for Governor Tim Walz's reelection campaign. That Ted Cruz quotes "I gotta say, that's right out of 'Goodfellas.' That's right out of a mafioso coming into a bar, going, 'nice bar you have here, it'd be a shame if something happened to it, ' (Walsh, 2025). He, for once, had gone so far against Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel and Cruz have gone at each other so many times—neither one of them likes the other very much. To quote Governor Tim Walz, "This is some North Korea Shit."

Cruz, who has had little sympathy, had called this "Profoundly Unfunny" and "bitter and nasty." Senator Cruz has made a good point that this administration shouldn't be censoring random late-night hosts and reporters who lean towards the Democrats. The Democrats can do that for the reporters who lean conservative.

At the end of the day, we hold the freedom of the press and the freedom of speech to be of great importance. To the point that we need to be allowed to disagree with others, but we can't go against people simply because we don't agree with them. We want to ensure that everyone's perspective is heard. I want to listen to people's opinions about what they think.
